Small Things is a unisex beauty and health brand dedicated to providing solutions for everyday awkward issues like face and body sweating, and chafing. They aim to remove the stigma around these common discomforts by openly discussing them and offering products that build confidence—not only in their effectiveness but also their appearance and feel. Their mission is to provide everyday personal care solutions, starting with their innovative antiperspirant primer.

The goal of this project was to create a brand identity and packaging design that stands out from competitors, offering an elevated and bold look with a minimal and modern design. We aimed to have a perfect balance of being ‘out-there’ and playful, ensuring the brand feels fresh, approachable, and distinctive. This design approach not only appeals to the target audience but also encapsulates the confidence and positivity that Small Things aims to instill in its customers.

Design & Branding

The brand’s visual identity features a clean sans-serif font, chosen for its minimalistic and modern appeal. To add a playful and distinctive character to the logo, customisations were made to the letters ‘a’. ‘t’, and ‘g’. Notably, the top of the letter ‘g’ is designed by rotating the letter ‘a’ counterclockwise, creating a unique symmetry and style between the rounded letters. A semibold font weight ensures the logo remains legible and doesn’t get overshadowed by varying color tones on packaging and collateral designs. The use of lowercase letters helps maintain an approachable and friendly vibe, making the brand accessible to a wide age range within the target audience.

Colour Scheme

The packaging design features a vibrant combination of Cheddar and Cornflower colors. This bold palette not only makes the packaging visually appealing but also ensures it stands out on the shelves, attracting attention with its unique and cheerful color contrast.
